ALLOCATION OF THE FUNDSAbout the Project Funding & Support...
What is the funding for?
The funding will provide the money required to construct a dormitory in the
village of Migwani, Kenya for 42 handicapped children
who have been rejected by their families because of their handicap. The funds
raised through this project will be spent in the purchase of the building
materials and to employ Migwani natives in the construction of the
dormitory.
How is the funding collected?
Funding is collected through donations and fundraising efforts. How is the funding allocated?
Once the project has reached the construction phase, the money will be
transferred to the Catholic Parish Priest in Magwandi, Kenya. The
Parish Priest will work with the community volunteers to ensure that the
funds go directly toward building materials and the building of the
dormitory.
Who benefits from the funding?
"100%"
of
the funds raised through our project will go toward building the dormitory,
specifically for building materials. The construction will be done by local
volunteers, supervised by Child Focus
Africa and monitored by Caritas
(Development & Peace)
